As a Christian I consider the following: Perhaps Adam was created 10,000 years ago at the end of the Pleistocene Era after the 6th mass extinction. There could have been pre-existing humanoids at that time neanderthals, etc., but the Bible says that Adam was created. It says first that animals were created after their kind, which implies that they were created similar to prehisoric animals that existed before. That is they shared a similar DNA structure, and were created through genetic engineering. Perhaps Adam was likewise created after man kind, similar in DNA structure to evolutionary prehisoric man, though created with genetic engineering. The one difference is Adam was also created in the image of God, that is having an spiritual element to his nature.

Tell me would this violate evolution? Would it mean that God knows at least as much science as we do today?

Email me, I'm fifteen and I have to go to bed!

Yes, evolutionists laugh it up:

Anyway email me with the exact same question

Actually that would be quite a bit too late. Farming was invented about 10,000 years ago. The Cromagnons were about 50,000 years ago. They appear to have been modern humans, the cave painters of the past. When is the human that we would recognize as a human is a good question.
The evolutionists are not really concerned with the concept of God. If God was claimed as the original force creating the universe would be no real problem. They wouldn't worry about it. The problems is the claim that man was created as man in a special act and that statement can be proved to not be true. I personally doubt if God would know anything about science. Why would he need to. All science fails if God can just say shazzam and change every one of the rules.

Anyway, you have, from what I see of your question started to consider the questions. I hope to hear more from you. Now I am going to check for other Q&A from you to see if I just got punked.

I believe that God never actually created an Adam or Eve. I think the creation stories are symbolic, and that God created us indirectly by starting the process of evolution, which he knew would lead to us. I think you're trying a little too hard to accept both...Keep in mind, the Creation story was written thousands of years ago, for an audience with a lot less scientific knowledge than we have. So the writers simplified the things God told them.
As for God knowing more science than us... He created science. He knows ALL of it. We can't even compete.

Um...no. Right above where it says God created Adam, it says God created the world. You can't accept part of the Bible and reject the rest. I don't have a clue what was here before God made the world as we know it. My best guess is that it was all just scattered dirt floating around, and yes, it came together in some sort of big bang type event. Then the Bible takes up the rest of the story.

Modern humans wer already around, so nope.

But if I were you, I would consider to stop mixing lore (bible) and science.

@kmsbean: you are apparently totally uneducated about dating techniques. First, carbon dating can go up to 60.000 y BP. Second, even then, other methods are available with radioactive materials which simply have much longer halftimes, like Argon for example. Third, even without those alternatives, laws of stratigraphy applies.
YOU LOOSE! GOD DAY, SIR!

Anything pre-flood is difficult to accurately date. Carbon dating only works to 1000BC, so science guessing on approximations of pre-duluge era of humoinds gets kind of messy.

Short answer: Adam is the first human, no evolution among humanoids whatsoever.

Evolution is already validated. Other than that, and the fact that there were biologically modern Homo sapiens during the Pleistocene, your outline is quite reasonable – if you would just leave out all the religious stuff.

While I disagree with you, at least you are trying to incorporate modern scientific thought into your belief system. It's a good start.

Oh, and to the person who said carbon dating wasn't accurate, the only ones who dispute it are religious groups. The following article at religioustolerance.org does a pretty fair job of explaining the matter:
