Yes, I have experimented with neurolinguistic
programming and self-hypnosis with excellent results.
They are both forms of accelerated learning, but you must still do the inner work.

Interesting question. In hypnosis, of course, you will not do anything against what you believe or what you do not really want to do. I have not thought of this, but it is an interesting thought. I know that when I am praying with a person for healing I will sometimes phrase my words so that their subconscious mind will move in the right direction to help heal their body. I can't see any moral reason why it could not be used. I think what you would want to do is self-hypnosis rather than having someone else doing it since you are to do the work yourself. There is no short cut, you must go through the dark night on your own.

I suspect that they would be quite effective methods of re-programming the mind to change the way that we think and perceive. The danger is that before you start adjusting something it is better to understand why it is out of adjustment in the first place.
If your car is not running properly it is no good adjusting the gap on the spark plugs if the fuel mixture is the problem. Most of the effort in gaining enlightenment is in finding out where your psychology is wrong and why. Almost immediately you discover a point that this is occuring the correction is automatically applied.
I am not convinced that a high speed method really exists which can streamline the "soul searching" exercise that is required for this exercise.
Good idea though. If you try it let me know the results.

Hypnosis is a temporary state of increased suggestiveness. So not hypnosis. NLP tends not to be successful beyond slight. I don't even know what you mean by enlightenment or vices, though.

I've heard hypnosis helps people fighting addictions - such as smoking. Personally I wouldn't want anyone in my head. You have to be willing to relinquish control to someone else who will put thoughts into you. No thank you.
Why do you want to speed up enlightenment? Just the very meaning has to do with something hard sought after. It just doesn't poof into you the next day. You have to work for it.
Addictions can be overcome - it takes will power, discipline and hard work. Something few people are willing to do anymore. It has to do with accepting responsibility and not placing blame on the addiction.

Invite a female over, prepare dinner jointly, ask her to cut greens as you stand in the back of her, press your self gently against her and help her. while the meal is waiting, place 3 fit for human intake flora on the plate. sit down and luxuriate in the meal jointly. Feed one yet another dessert. Granted, this might take all evening, yet once you're taking your self-based concepts-set out of the equation, she will thoroughly respond. I refuse to comply with any hypnosis, chemical compounds, or short-cuts. in case you will seduce a female, do it appropriate.

Hello. Enlightenment is something many are searching for, but I have something to share with you. Man is fallen and in an unregenerate state outside of salvation through Jesus Christ. The only true and sufficient enlightment for your life and quest is the light of the truth in Jesus and His word. He is the LIGHT of LIFE, and consequently enlightenment outside of Him is not enlightenment at all. His grace can help you get victory over vices as He can touch you. I would not recommend hypnosis as you're giving someone control over your soul essentially (I believe). So my recommendation is to put aside eastern mysticism and seek to know Him who is TRUTH and the embodiment of LIGHT. I'm not aiming to preach at you but to share the truth with you which will set you free. BTW... Karma does not exist, but rather the law of sowing and reaping is and is unavoidable. Take care.
