it will stay 9 to 12 months

The hair that is chemically straightened will stay that way, but it will grow and to keep it straight root to end, you would have to get a retouch on the roots about every 6 weeks or so

bluemoon is right! The hair that is straightened will stay str8, the new growth will have to be straightened about every 6 weeks or so!
