I've lost alot of weight..and my parents won't leave me alone!!
They keep saying I'm too skinny and that I don't eat right and that they're going to take me to a hospital to run tests on me and yadda yadda yadda.
Well..it annoys the heck outta me! And if I try to tell them something, all they do is yell at me even more.
I'm not even that skinny..
I'm 5'6" and 128..I've actually gained 3 pounds..
But they're convinced I'm trying to starve myself or something.
I had a bagel today instead of dinner because I wasn't hungry, and my gosh, they yelled at me for so long, and repeated the same things over and over again..
And like I said, if I try talking to them about it, all they do is yell at me even more.
What should I do?

Tell them they are stressing you out with all the yelling, and stress makes you lose your appetite. That might shut them up. Tell them you feel fine, you like being the way you are, and you have learned to listen to your appetite instead of the clock that says "dinnertime". It doesn't sound like you are in any danger, they should back off before they give you psychological problems.

Try to remember your parents are merely concerned with your health. They have most likely heard so much about bulimia and anorexia, that they fear you may be falling victim to such a fate. Counter your parent’s uneasiness with a nutritional meal plan. By having bad eating habits i.e., a bagel for dinner only further worries them. My questions would be - did you intentionally lose so much weight? If so, how did you lose it? If you didn't intend to lose so much weight, how much did you lose and how fast?
There could possibly be an underlying medical issue such as thyroid problems, which could be causing the weight loss. Perhaps your parents are concerned more with the medical implications of such a rapid weight loss coupled with poor eating habits. If you feel fine (medical problem free), then sit down with them and set up a meal plan that works for everyone, especially you. Most importantly, is for you to make sure you receive all the necessary, protein, vitamins and so on to ensure your good health.
What do your friends, aquaintences and other members of the family say about your weight loss? Is only your parents the ones stating these concerns or are there others voicing concerns too?
Perhaps you have another member of the family or a family friend that may sit with you and your parents to play mediator the next time this subject starts to heat up? Your parents should be concerned yes, however, as long as your are losing weight the appropriate way and ensuring your nutrition levels are being met, perhaps they would open to your height to weight ratio?
Good Luck!

Well that doesn't sound healthy & if u have lost alot resently it may be of a concern, u have to realize alot of teens die trying to diet & by loosing to much weight to quickly. A young woman needs certain requirements nutritionaly & it can effect things as u get older. Just make sure you are getting daily requirements of needed nutrients . You don't have to pig out to be fit but be carefull. I had a freind that was so worried that she cut out the wrong things & it effected her reproductive system. Just watch what u do & be carefull

When I was 95 lbs. (at 4'10) my dad was this way. I guess try to explain that eating the way you do has helped you maintain a healthy weight, and has made you feel good about yourself. I don't think 128 lbs. at 5'6 is too skinny. I have friends that height and weight and they look fine. Good luck.

Get your BMI (Body Mass Index) calculated by a
professional - that will tell you where you are relative
to your "ideal" weight according to medical standards.
If your parents don't believe Doctors, well ... you
might need to talk to the court about child
abuse.

I'm sure it can be annoying but you have to remember that they care about you and are concerned. They wouldn't nag so much if they didn't love you. Humor them, eat infront of them so they feel better.
