ok so there is this girl in my class who i like, i have yet to speak to her but i do know her name seeing as how we are in a speech class. my question is how do girls like to be approached? what works and what doesnt? im just shy so i need ideas as to how todo this thanks for eveyrone who puts in the input.

Please no stupid lines we hate that go up and just say Hey and walk away.Next time you see her do the same thing when walking past her look her straight in her eyes and say hey there and that's it for now.What you are doing here is making yourself none to her that way when she sees you she will say hi when you do.Every time you see her add a little more until the two of you start talking.It does work just don't give up or chicken out we girl's can sense that and it is a turn off. You can do it !

From my personal experience, I do not like it when guys just come up to you, say "hi, (her name here)" and walk away. That's just lame. I think I prefer more conversation rather than just a short line or two. Maybe you could start off by saying "hey, how are you?" and then you could gradually start a conversation... but if you are too shy and you can't possibly do THAT, then I guess the only solution for you is to say "hey" like a bunch of times until she actually gets that you like her.. both ways work. Trust me. But the first way is much much faster. Hurry before she's gone! GOOD LUCK!

complement her, but not too heavy, just something small, maybe on a speach she gave or something, if you know anything she is into, ask her about it.
most girls dont like it when guys lay it on thick, or come accross too cocky or even bold. dont start with a flirt or a pick up line, start with friendly conversation.

I think most girls like it when you can make them laugh...Say something cute and funny to her then sort of move on. You may just find her looking for you....P.S. be funny not corny...
