Help I am losing my mind! This guy and I have liked one another 4 ever- since childhood practically. Over the years he keeps saying forward things to me, nd from time to time says to other ppl that he'll ask me out, but wen the time comes, he chickens out nd makes a lame excuse. I feel sad nd want to move on, but it's hard b/c I really like him and he keeps making it like he likes me too. He looks at me differently than he looks at anybody else, and he doesn't treat anybody else the same way either. He's very sweet and very polite, but unsure of himself. He seems most happy when he is with me! He makes me feel like one day he will ask me out, but I'm not so sure b/c I know he can't make up his mind. I want to talk to him about it, but I am too shy and I don't want it to be awkward because he's a really good friend. What do I do?

He Could Possibly Be Afraid That By Moving To Another Level It May Wreck You're Friendship And That May Be The Last Thing He Wants To Do. Or He Could Be Just Teasing You. If He Is As Sweet And Polite As You Say, I Would Think It Would Be The First One. You Should Talk To Him About You're Feelings If You're Tired Of Waiting. I Wouldn't Give Up On Him Until You've Tried. Who Knows, You Could Be Very Happy With Him. So COMMUNICATE! Or You Will Never Know.

an intense crush/love is a difficult one. you cant make him do anything and apparently he's not ready to make any serious moves. you guys have known each other a while so that makes it extra awkward. let him know that you at least like him. find ways of telling him that you want him to be a serious, romantic part of your life. tell him that you're not really interested in seeing any other guys because you're happiest with him. temper the water and if he bites, he bites. if not, he's either uninterested or not worth it. sweet/good guy doesn't mean he's the best for you. sometimes a good guy friend is better than a sweet boyfirend you end up breaking up with.
and if he's unsure of himself, you may want to wait until he gets some more confidence. dont make excuses because you love him and he's your friend. you'll drive yourself nuts honey.
in the meanwhile, dont discount another guy that may be just as nice and more willing to make the move.

just try flirting with him or grab his hand or make a move give him a kiss something like that, if you really love him how you say you do then do something don't just let him go. I am sure he is just as shy as you and he seems like a really good guy and like he really likes you, Talk to him about it that wouldnt hurt just tell him if yall can have a talk and spill out your feelings to him and i am sure he is feeling the same thing, i personaly dont think you should let him go if you really love him that much but the decision is up to you hope you can do somehting good luck!!

Two shy ppl will never get together.Someone has to make the first move.Invite him over for a movie at your house and go from there.Or just ask him to go out with you to a movie. If it is meant to be it will happen but dont wait around if he turns you down.Move on and who knows maybe someday he will come around and see you as more then just a friend if he does not see you that way now.

u cannot peep into someone's heart to know.all this is just speculation.dont speculate.until u talk over, things would never be clear.if u r shy to do that send him a letter with everything written and then ask him to reply.gather some courage and try to talk over face to face.shedding inhibitions would help.if u have been togather since childhood then i dont see that big a problem with all this.all the best.may God bless u :)

You have to overcome your shyness and tell him how you feel. You are just wasting precious time if you do not get it all out in the open. This could be your soulmate and you are going to let is slip through your fingers.
If he is shy as well, some other female that is more assertive than you will get him and then how will you feel?...
Go get him!!!

If you truly love him and he feels the same way about you, give it some time. Try to talk to him at first about mundane subjects then more serious ones. Try not to rush things. I hope your relationship turns out the way both of you picture it. Good luck!

Talk to him about it you daft thing! You sound as bad as he is. Get your courage up and tell him how you feel, then ask him straight how he feels. How could you let him go without knowing for sure?
