Hope this helps.. My daughter used to get migraines. She started using "progesterone cream" purchased from the health food store when she felt one was coming on. That helped or minimized the problem. Also a friend of mine was having migraines and started taking melanin at bedtime. She said that reduced the number of migraines she got. If your problem continues a doctor can give you some prescription medications that should help

There's a new medicine advertised on TV, called Imarex. Ask your doctor to prescribe it for you. Also, try to find out what triggers your headaches. Some migraines are caused by certain foods and drinks, stress, fatigue and trying to do too much. A migraine is a vascular headache, and manifests itself when the blood vessels in the head expand. Migraine sufferers describe the pain as pounding, and is usually on one side of the head. It is accompanied by sensitivity to light and sound, and some people become nauseated and vomit. If this sounds like your headaches, do see your doctor for relief. Good luck

Go to the doctor and get a prescription migraine medication, like Immitrex. That's what I take and it works like a charm.
If you can't do that for whatever reason, take 4 Advil migraine meds, lay in a dark and quiet room with an ice pack on your head for an hour or so. Sleep if you can. That doesn't always work, migraines are a *****.

You should reduce your reliance on drug medications for pain relief as much as you can. Consuming too much drugs can cause rebound headaches and you are back to Square One.
Consider using natural remedies for headache instead. I used to have migraine headaches but am now using a variety of treatment methods. I also get some free tips on natural headache remedies here http://www.headacheremedysecrets.com

Just rest in a dark room with no noise and you need to think about something nice and try to fall asleep. If you start thinking about problems or concerns it will start hurtin back and more intense. You also have to stop thinking about it. Cover your face with a wet cloth. They also sell a product name "head On" in the pharmacy(apply directly to the forehead) this comercial you probably seen. If all this don't work than you might need glasses or GO TO A DOCTOR.
