I've been looking for a new facewash, right now I use Clean and Clear continuous Control acne wash, but I wanted to try something different. I hate my skin, I'ts really oily, and gets really shiny, especially on my forehead, which obviously results in pimples. Does anyone know anything that would help? Also any kind of moisturizer that will even out my skin tone without clogging pores? Thanks!

aveeno daily cleanser w/ salicylic acid...the st ive's apricot scrub is good but using an exfoliator daily is too harsh on skin (i think they came out with an apricot daily wash though)...nutrogena is good...

as for moisturizers, aveeno daily moisturizer is good (they have one that evens skin tone also i believe), and the body shop makes a tea tree oil gel moisturizer...i do not like the nutrogena moisturizers though...

I like St Ives Apricot Scrub. It has more natural ingredients which are better for your face than all the other face cleaning products. I also use the Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask about once a week. It's good for extra oil control when used as the mask. Also, I would recommend the Pore Refining Toner by Neutrogena if you have oily skin. I don't have oily skin, but it tends to dry my face out if I use it everyday. It also helps minimize the appearance of pores. I think it may help with your oily skin. That's what I recommend; hope you find a product that works for you!!

Work with an aesthetician to get the right thing for your skin. If you don't have large pores, you really don't have oily skin. It may just be confused and need more moisture. Sounds weird, but excess oil can be the result of dehydrated skin.
Aveeno has good inexpensive products so does Dove.
If you can afford it, one of the best is Murad.
Go to a beauty school and get a couple facials as this will help your skin too.

I love Arbonne. I too had an oily T-zone until I started using the products over a year ago. It's always best to use natural products...ones that do not contain alcohol, wax, dyes, chemicals, fragrances, acetone, animal products and bi products, mineral oil, etc. These ingredients can cause irritation, dryness, and have little to no long term benefit. If you would like to try a pure, safe, and beneficial cleanser, Arbonne has a great hydrating face wash to fit your need that is botanically and water based, pH correct, dermatologist tested, and do not contain any of the ingredients listed above as they are formulated in Switzerland and regulated by the FDA. Arbonne formulates their products with nanosphere technology which makes them beneficial for all skin types. Products with nanosphere technology adjust to your skins specific needs and applies more moisture in dry areas and less is oily areas (so it's perfect for combination skin). If you're open to trying a free sample, I'll be happy to send you one. Best of luck!
