Oh, so you're a couch potato? Well, you might as well get used to the so-called baby fat that you have. If you continue to sit in front of that idiot box and talk on the phone all of the time then you are laying your foundation for a lot of blubber.

Put the phone down and turn off the television. Take that ratty blanket off of your bed and throw it on the floor. Now, put your butt on it and lay on your left side. Extend your left arm and leaving your elbow on the floor, brace your head with your hand.

Alternating between your left and right side, lift your leg from your side toward your shoulder. The first week start out doing a repetition of 25 on each side. The second week, increase it to 50. The third week make it 75. The fourth week max it out at 100. Don't forget that it is 25-50-75-100 for EACH side.

Then, after you have finished with your routine, you can turn the TV back on and talk on the phone to you little (you keep this up and you'll see why I say little) hearts desire.

Now, that wasn't so hard, was it?

You can't "spot reduce" fat deposits. Do some cardio....running, walking, anything that gets your heart rate up a little. Lifting weights helps a LOT. It builds muscle, and the more muscle you have, the more fat you burn even while sleeping. You can do all the sideways crunches and "butt" exercises you want, and you'll get nice muscles in those areas, but that muscle will still be buried under a layer of fat unless you do something to burn that fat.
Also, drink lots of water, lots of veggies, lots of fruit, only whole grains, and reduce your meat intake. Most of our calories come from meats. Make up for the loss of that protein by eating beans. There are tons of varieties and different ways of cooking those beans. Beans and rice together make a complete protein, and is much healthier than meat. When you do eat meat, choose lighter meats such as turkey and chicken.
