Is the world getting fatter?

Question

Now when I go and buy food, i see "Less fat!" "Less calories!" "Non-fat" "Lose weight"
ITS ON EVERY PACKAGE MOSTLY. Im sick of that. What if someone does *not* want to lose weight. "less calories or fat" Does not make you lose weight. works out do!! Why arent people getting this? We are gettng fatter?

absolutely getting fatter. people are not disciplined and they abuse their kids from a young age by letting them eat fatty foods.... I think parents have become lazy and is it much easier to get the family big macs instead of cooking a healthy meal.....

Yes, we sure are getting fatter. Too many people live in a fast paced society and are always on the go. No time to cook healthy meals. So the food industry is coming out with low fat, no fat and less fat foods to help out

The world is getting fatter! Just think of all the things we have access to! The market wants to sell Low fat stuff because people overindulge themselves and then people will buy stuff like that. Really that stuff is just as bad. Its all man made. People are sooo lazy they don't want to work out.

I agree, and some of the reduced fat stuff had ingredients-to reduce the fat in it- that can make you sick. I got sick this morning because my body completely rejected reduced fat crackers.
