I think there's SOME suggestive power that's possible. Liek when I go to sleep with the TV on, sometimes my dreams are heavily influenced by what's on, even what comes on after i've fallen asleep. I think ideas can be placed in people's heads... like I remember when my family was talking about going to the park when my grandma was asleep, and later she woke up and said she thought it'd be a great idea to go to the park. The idea was placed there without her knowing it, and since she thought it was a good idea, she took it as her own. However, if this is a person that typically does not enjoy cleaning, it's not likely that any form of suggestion or even bona fide hypnosis is going to make them suddenly WANT to clean. You're better off nagging them while they're awake.

Yes you can, it's wholly possible. It's possible to do it while people are awake as well. It's a technique that people would call 'mind control' but I would call it subtle suggestiveness. You can't full do it unless you have certain qualitites to your voice, or your subject is easily swayed. It's not something I would do because I would never alter the free will, as that's something God gave everyone on purpose ^_^

There are books your can get on influencing the mind, and tricks on how to get these things to work, but it's a hard talent. You are better off not bothering and concentrating on using other magic to influence peoples' lives. Only for the better though.

You should be able to find some good books on mind control etc on eBay, or I'll dig up some of my old ones or see if I have any ebooks on it. Along with all my paranormal studies, I threw in a little psychology. My email is missytetra@yahoo.co.uk - you can email me anytime ^_^ in love and light x x

It will depend on the person. My friends and I would ask another of my friends, who was sleeping, questions. He would answer them truthfully! This guy was funny because sometimes he would sit up and start cursing. I think it was because he would listen to music while sleeping. Anyhow, I do believe its possible, their subconscious will mess with them when they wake up.

The only thing you will get from disturbing someone's sleep is a fat lip. Suggestion during sleep isn't like hypnotic suggestion. But nice try!

I have heard that if you play a tape while someone is sleeping with messages on it that it really does help to get them motivated. Good luck on that.

You can persuade them to wake up, if you ask loud enough.

The subconcious mind, could at times, pick up a subliminal cue.

technically its possible but i reckon loads of research would be involved. For years now i have been saying to my boyfriend when he is asleep---'watch out for the palm trees' and sometimes i ask him how he feels about palm trees but i am getting nothing. he knows my feeble attempts at brainwashing now and snickers...all that effort and no effect at all!

it depends on the person and many other factors, it sounds like it wouldn't work though, hypnosis is probably where you should look for that kind of information
