I have about a fourth of an inch of hair and if there is not a temporary way could I shave of all my hair after dyeing it and have it grow back brown?

Yes, if you dye your hair, the hair you dye is permanently that color. But if you cut it off, its gone and will grow back in your natural color. So go for it <3

You can't dye your hair blond with a temporary dye. But it will grow back brown it you shave it off. A word of warning though, if your hair is dark brown, it is really hard to get it blond without going to a salon. Many over the counter blond dyes will just make your hair orange.

There's no way to temporarily bleach your hair, and because if your hair is dark brown, you can't "lift" color with color, which means you can't dye your dark hair blonde because it has to be lightened with bleach first. I would shave it off like you said...it will always grow back and be brown! :0)

Dye/Bleach is always temporary. Ask any bottle blonde as your hair will always grow out to its natural color. Oh, and blondes don't always have the most fun! Try redheads or brunettes, yea baby!

Why bother? When you dye your hair blonde, and let it grow out you get a style which is called 'frosted tips', people pay good money for those!

The only way to go lighter is to remove color, and it's permanent. Yes, it will grow back in your natural color, bleaching only affects the hair above the scalp line, not the root.

Well if you shave off all your hair ,it will come back your natural color .Yes ,you can [lighten] ,your hair to a blond.Get yourself a blonding kit, it will be "very"fast ".It may burn your scalp ,as usually we don't apply color directly to the scalp ,for this reason . As this will be fast because of body heat from scalp .

Temporary hair color that washes out in 8 to 10 shampoos.

OR, go to Sally's hair and beauty shop and by the hair color that comes in a spray can. Then get whatever color you want and spray it on. Let it dry and then it washes out in one shampoo.

You can use the dye that rinses out after 28 or so shampoos. I use Clairol Natural Instincts.
