I don't want to go to school. Because I didn't do my homework. I am doing it right now, but I still have gillions of things to do. I might be able to finish it, but I'll be so tired at school I bet I'll fall asleep right in the middle of the hallway. But if I miss, I'll have to make up tons of work and be behind and stuff. Grrr...any suggestions?

Definitely not a homeschooling question, and hopefully you are at school right now instead of reading yahoo answers.

However, part of playing the game is paying the price. You procrastinated on doing your homework ("I didn't do my homework") so now you need to finish it ("I might be able to finish it"). The natural consequence is that tomorrow you will be exhausted. Maybe this will help you learn not to put it off, but I doubt it.

Good luck, I hope the rest of your high school career is more positive than this.

I don't think you fully understand what home-schooling means.
Are you asking if you should stay home to try to catch up on past due work? Why not talk to your parents, and teachers about it. They do have extra credit, and teacher help after school. You may just have to stay late at school for a couple of days. When I would get sick I would have my parents pick up my school work, complete it, and be right back on track. I wish you the best. You'll now learn that skipping homework assignments will catch up to you in the long run!

You wouldn't be in this position, if you had stayed off the phone and the computer when you came home from school and did your home work then,..... AND... if you really applied yourself and tried to do the very best you could do on your homework then, you would be looking forward to going to school now, instead of dreading it.

Stop whining, get of yahoo answers, do your homework, and go to school tomorrow. Life sucks sometimes, and we need to learn how to deal with it, even if we don't like it. Get a can of Red Bull, grin and bear it.

What does this have to do with homeschooling?

But...I'll answer it anyways.

GO TO SCHOOL! If you didn't do the homework then suffer the consequences and do better next time.

Do as much work as you can tonight, get at least six hours of sleep, and cope at school tomorrow.

You'll feel better for having done it.
