I use Microsoft Word and Mozilla Firefox;

The both of them have a spell check function and the both of them let you correct spelling mistakes via the right click.

They both also have an 'add to dictionary' option under the right click, and this all to often gets clicked at the wrong time.

Its starting to become a real pain, many words are falling though, and I need to know how I can remove the words I have added to the dictionary in both of these programs.

Different versions of Word have Different dictionary names/locations. In XP -- Tools>Options. Select Spelling and Grammar Tab to determine the name of your (Custom.dic). Easiest way to locate is via Search from XP Windows Start Menu (usually somewhat buried in the system). Once you have located it. Right click>Open with and select Notepad (best option) and it opens like a regular text file that can be edited and saved.
