Unless your dog is UKC and or ADBA registerd and obviously he is not because ur refering to him as a "Red nose". Which means this dog lacks any sort of pedigree and he is not championed or excelling at weight pull... PLEASE DO NOT BREED.

What is the point of breeding when there are millions upon millions of these dogs in shelters and being killed daily. Hasn't this poor breed been thru enough?

Why breed a sub-standard dog? People like you are the reason that BSL is being enforced in places. People like you are why I have to worry about where I move because my dogs might not be welcome.

Backyard breeders me sick, people who are just in it to make a quick buck.

FYI.. AKC does not recognize or register APBT's anyways

You should wait until he is at least a year old. AKC won't register the puppies if the stud is under 8 months old. He can be studded out at 8 months.. there is no problem there. I am not going to go into the health part of it because I am sure you will hear a lot from other people about that.. I just wanted to answer your question.

You can start when he reaches maturity at 6 months but double check with his registry to make sure they don't have age restrictions as some don't allow you to breed till 8 months. You may want to take him to a couple of shows first and place so that there is a market for your puppies.

I am not sure. You are taking on a BIG responsibility. This poor breed has a very bad rep. Please be one of the good breeders, do everything completely legal and safely. Make sure he's got a good temperament. We need to help them get a better rep.. (sorry. Not saying you are one of the bad ones, just tired of the poor dogs getting the worst of it)
