When I bought my scanner at Radio Shack some time ago I also bought a book called "Police Call" it has all the frequencies of police, ambulances, sheriffs etc. High band and low band. Go to Radio Shack and check, they may still have them. The frequencies are not "top secret" anyone can obtain them. I listen to my scanner quite often, real entertaining..

You may be able to get that from any radio company, like Motorola radio dealership in the area. They'd have to go and program the radios. Also there are books that you can buy that has some of these frequencies in them. Of course many other frequencies are secret, like narcotics channels.....stuff like that. Best of luck to you.

why? so you can use your scanner so you know when the police are in your area? those frequencies are not handed out to the public. if they were (thank God they aren't), do you know how many local crazies would call and fake an emergency?
