I want to flirt with a married man that I work with. I only want to flirt and don't want it to go any further since I am married also. I am attracted to him not sexually but I do think he is good looking. I love his personality and he always makes me laugh. He's flirted with me once and it scared me because I didn't know how to react to it or let along flirt back. My coworker called him Tom Cruise one day because he was wearing sunglasses. He still laughs about it when they see each other and she brings it up. In his own way he is shy and only talks when something needs to be said. And he is a total gentlemen holding doors and letting women go first. Can someone give me some innocent flirting tips that I can use on him. He had a real respect for me and I don't want to lose that either but I do want to flirt with him.

Innocent flirting is fine, but be careful that he doesn't mis-construe your flirting. Non-sexual flirting can be accomplished by general compliments, not on physical features etc. compliments for instance on his tie, his work performance, etc. Teasing him is also non sexual flirting. Just don't flirt with him like you would a potential mate.

I don't recommend flirting with a married man. What if his last flirting attempt wasn't innocent? If you flirt with him, he may see this as a come on. Why would you want to flirt with him? This could get something started that you don't really want. It may be innocent for a married man to flirt with you, but when you flirt back it don't look so innocent anymore. If you really want him to lose respect for you, flirting is a way to do it.
Some men just naturally flirt and they are not trying to make a pass. If you flirt back, he may think you are serious.

two married people flirting is just asking for trouble. Men see flirting as people they can have sex with, if you don't want to have sex with him don't flirt. That will send a mixed message to him and I think will put you in a position that you don't want to be in.
