my friend told me that everything you eat past 10 goes straight to your butt and thighs. is this true?

no that is a myth. when you eat, it gives you a certain amount of caloric energy. If you eat more energy than you consume you will get fat regardless when you do so. When you eat less you will lose weight. If you eat right before you sleep , it will be consumed by your basal metabolism, and whatever is not consumed will be when you get up. However if you eat and then dont spend any energy, then eat more, you will get fat

Your body's metabolism slows down at night. Not necessarily at 10pm. Just when it starts to get dark, your body will start to prepare for bed and it slows down. There are chemicals in your brain that cause your entire body to slow down. Therefore, food will not be digested as quickely so you are more likely to store the food in your body all night as fat, rather than burning it off during the day. Also, it is recommended that you eat dinner 2-4 hours before you go to bed to make sure that the food is digested and not sitting in your stomach all night, turning into fat. Hope this helps

not really but the reason u don't eat late at night is because u are not u and moving to burn the calories
