If I were you I would take a day or 2 just for you. Like, if you are off of work 2 days a week then take one or both of those days and have a sitter come and sit with your mom and you just go shopping or take a walk or go to a movie. If you go out at night when your mom is sleeping then you will feel less guilty. But you need to make sure that you make time for you. If you can not afford it then do it once every 2 weeks. Or you can ask a friend to come over and hangout with your mom and you can go out. I hope that this works. Good Luck.

Is there any type of organization in your area that you may be able to take your mother for one day a week to talk with people her age. Maybe she needs a break also. Make sure you take care of yourself because if you dont have your health you wont be much help. Get your brothers and sisters regardless of their marital status to help. They can take your mother once a month for a weekend. There are 8 of them so it would only be once every 7 months. If they cant do that then how about a day visit. It always seems that one child has to take on all the responsibility. Have you talked to your mother about helping out with things like dishes and maybe laundry. You have to talk with her and tell her that you love her and dont mind taking care of her but you need her to help you a bit because you are feeling stressed. Take care and God Bless

Talk With Adult Day Programs/Adult Companion Services/Hospice. These may have services to help you or give you some advise on a break. It can be demanding along with heading you toward a physical/mental breakdown!

So what if your siblings are married. They should still have time for their mother. I find it selfish for them to not ever come and give you a break. You certainly need it. I was on my own when my mother became ill and it was devastating.
