Yes, if your HDTV has either component or s-video inputs, you can get a cable to connect the wii.

Yes you can buy a component video cable from some retailers or the Nintendo store made for the Wii but I personally recommend you don't. The theoretical difference to begin with is trivial, 480i resolution to 480p. Plus when I tried progressive scan on my 42" wide-screen HD plasma my games appeared pixlated and to me looked worse than the regular interlaced picture. As long as your TV had standard yellow white red RCA connectors you can connect the Wii standard def out of the box.

u can use componant cables but there is no point since the wii doen't have good graphics
