One pound of body fat is qual to 3,500 calories. To lose a pound, you need to burn 3,500 more calories than you eat. Do do this calculate your BMR and the calories that you burn from exercise & subtract the calories that you eat. A good goal would be to have a 500-calorie deficit per day to lose 1 pound per week. Wow... i was wondering the exact same thing this morning. Thanks for asking it, cause now I can use the answers you've been given as my own. :) And now I feel depressed... that's a week's worth of calories, and I only burn 1 lbs? It's going to take me forever to lose this weight! And no, I'm not a big girl, lol. good luck

I have never heard of carlios, but it is possible that you mean calories?
