you can get a a/c man to repair it... bu the cost to repair it will be as close to getting a new one in the aftermarket and that one has a warranty for defects (the a/c guy may or may not warranty his work)

So it's wiser to get a new condenser unless you want to find out the fun to repair it time and time again.

Replacing the condenser is the best route. Also running the compressor without R143a in the system with low or w/o coolant may cause it to fail too since it needs the coolant as a lubricant.

my ninety 9 Explorer might universal 37MPG highway and 26 MPG city. My brother's ninety six averages 35 MPG highway and 23 MPG city. His wifes 2008 explorer averages 32 MPG highway and 20 mpg city. All have the 6 cyl autos. The mileage is averaged employing the Imperial Gallon (4.454 Litres consistent with Imperial gallon) so the variations may well be little whilst in comparison with the U. S. Gallon (3.eighty 4 litres consistent with US gallon) shop them properly maintained, use completely synthetic oils andcontinual properly, no longer agressively, and that they are low-fee automobiles to run. extra low fee than maximum compact automobiles.

Sad to say it but no patch job here. High pressure tubing needs to be replaced. Wish I had better news

With that old off a truck it should be just as easy and cheaper to change it than to have the old one fixed.
