So here is the thing. My son lives with his grandma and her gay lover and has been since he has been 6 months old, he is now 3 years old. I signed temporary custody to them when my ex and I moved out of her house to keep his mom from taking him but now I want him back he is coming up to visit me in April my question is how can I get him when he comes to see me and How would I go about it?

well, your first move is to go to the courts and get the temporary custody over turned. also file for full custody at the same time. generally if you have a legal aide society there they can tell you everything you need to do and you can also sign up for a lawyer. you shouldn't have any problem regaining custody of your son as long as they can't prove you as an unfit parent. best of luck to you i hope it all works out.

you need to see a lawyer and pronto.. only they will give you the right legal advice depends on what state you live in and what judge you get will the gay thing be in your favor or not.. also depends on what she has on you.. and if your clean or not.. squeaky clean.. and what is the reason she could have taken him in the first place.. if you did nothing and could have supportted him then she could not have taken him.. to many time the grandparents step in and take the grandchild when the couple split up.. talk you a lawyer.. like as soon as possible

My advice to you is going to your local court system clerk and see about how to get nullify the temporary custody paper you have....You should be able to do that, but you would have to go through the courts if thats how custody was transferred to begin with.

When your son comes to visit, take all your money move out of the country without telling anyone. Hey if you disagree with me whatever, but you made the kid and your X isn't raising him and your able and willing...%$# everyone else at least your son will have one parent in his life

Hire an attorney
Your life needs to be squeaky clean
your job needs to be steady
the courts need to feel that the child would be better off with you
this will take time
lots of money
big committment
no guarantee that you are gonna win

Why are you just now dealing with this?? It's been 2 1/2 years. Why do you want him now? Why take him from the only home he's known?

with temporary custody you only have to go back to the place you signed and sign a paper saying you are getting him back... with temporary custody it's really all up to you... the grandmother can't do anything...
