my cats brother and sister, both got shots and micro implants the same day, within a week they have both been sneezing everyday, and their fur looks like they were just petted backwards.

very few, but yes it is possible. If the symptoms don't let up or they stop eating/drinking, bring them to the vet.

I think you can rule out the microchipping. My cats have had that and I have never heard of it causing an adverse reaction.

Shots, however, can cause reactions and that can depend on the cats. I think you don't have to worry about it if they just seem to have a slight "cold" and of course alert the vet if things seem to be going downhill.

The shots really shake up the immune system and in future do only one kind of shot at a time (rabies, say) and then wait about three weeks for giving any other vaccine.

Cats can have reactions to vaccine shots - some bad, but most just become lethargic or just a bot "off" for a caouple of days. The vaccines impacts their auto-immune system (as they are designed to do) and so after getting shots, a cat's immune system will be a bit stressed and they can get a bit of the sniffles. Just keep your kitties in a warm, quiet place and they should be alright in a few days.

shots are much more likely. our cat had a bad reaction to one shot once, she was sick for a week. didn't ever get that one again...

microchips are pretty safe. I would not want one or mine, they're supposed to itch like nobody's business, but they will not cause a reaction.
