Men never grow up. At any age you are going to get a boy who likes video games and TV and doesn't listen. You are just describing a man. There is a saying men never grow up, they just have bigger toys. Or is that more expensive toys?

look lady....i'm 26 or maybe as i became 24, i became engaged to an 18 year previous. each little thing became marvelous!!! besides the undeniable fact that, I knew that he became way too youthful for marriage and that he could date some individuals and do a touch residing before settling down. in the different case, he may get into it and then understand that he had ignored out. also, how could he ever understand if he particularly loved me contained in the first position? So, I enable him flow. I figured that if it truly became love, that it may continuously be there. properly, he moved again to Colorado (i'm in Delaware) and he stated as me each and each of the time in the starting up. Then he were given a clean youthful lady friend very last July and the phone calls have thoroughly stopped. seems he wasn't particularly in love with me, perhaps only the concept of being in love with an older lady. My aspect is, you want to furnish him some room. it truly is the in reality way you'll ever understand the reality. I advise, you're easily previous sufficient to understand what you want out of existence, yet he's not. Set him loose and see if he comes again. it truly is the in reality way.

The chances are quite high because for one, your only one year apart, and two, guys will be guys. It doesn't matter if you love a 40 year old man he is still going to have those little childish addictions, like video games or cars....its just a hobby. And if it bothers you that much talk to him about it, and tell him that you want to spend more time together. Tell him how you feel about him, because if he knows how you feel he'll respond to that and he'll relieze how much he means to you! Really...just talk to him...it works!!!

Lady, you're just a year apart... it has nothing to do with his age, he just sounds like he likes video games/tv... have you tried talking to him about it? About how you feel like he plays too much video games and doesn't pay enough attention to you? It's amazing what people can accomplish by actually TALKING to each other... If you have issues with his age, you need to work them out for yourself.. he's not out of your realm, just a year is not a gap at all...

Girls your age are usually more mature than boys his age. You either put up with it or you don't. Don't make the mistake that you will be with a 30 year guy who won't be interested in video games or sports. A lot of guys are no matter what age they are.
And lastly, even though you are 20, you are in no way a woman. So don't get too serious too soon.

There are forty year old men who don't pay attention either. Video games have become part of popular culture and are not just for children anymore. I think you have to find more shared activities to draw him away from his games.

Only time will tell. If you truly love him you will put up with things he does that bothers you. As a matter of fact you may do some things that bother him too......as for trying to have a conversation with him.....well "honey chile" that part will never change as most men don't listen to their wives or girlfriends after they have been with them for awhile.

uhhhhh, I know someone in this EXACT situation, and they got married, and it's the same old gig. It's getting old. Yes, it WILL wear you out, and don't expect that men always change for the better. Move on while you still can.
