exercise program.If I do cardio kickboxing or jump roping for 40 mintues on mon,wed,fri and on tue,thur,sat did pilates for 40 minutes is it enough exercise for my goal of 125 lbs by June? I am 13 wiegh 140 lbs am 5'6". ALso I eat healthy and about 1200-1500 calories a day. About how many pounds a week should I lose? Any other suggestions?

Just make sure you're not overdoing it. That seems a reasonable way to go. But be easy on yourself--if you feel like it's too much scale down a bit, or do something lighter like yoga or walking on days your body is sore from all that cardio stuff! Health is about more than body weight--it's also about peace of mind and a balanced life. Sounds like you're on a good path, but set realistic goals. Are you going to do all of that, and stick to it? I'd suggest starting out with less exercise if you're just beginning, and then build up to the 6 day a week plan gradually. That way you'll actually achieve what you're setting out to accomplish. Expect to lose about 1/2 to 2 lbs. a week. Anything over 2/week is too drastic a change. And it generally takes 4-6 weeks to start seeing real results. You want this to take place naturally and in a healthy way. Do things you enjoy, stick with it, change your routine when you get bored, eat a variety of foods, and just really enjoy your life, and I'd say you are well on your way to your goal. You're young, your metabolism is high, and it probably won't take long for you to lose the weight. At 5'6" 140 would not be considered overweight. Don't get wrapped up in the Hollywood skeleton girl image. 1500 cal, of a well balanced diet is fine. You shouldn't need to exercise everyday of the week, but making exercise a part of your regular lifestyle (for life) will never hurt you.

All you need to do is eat from all the food groups, in proper portions, and exercise regularly. If you do that, you'll never have a weight problem.

This sounds like a great routine, and if you're watching your calories you'll lose this weight by this time. My suggestion is this: Stay consistent! This means keep doing it every week and don't stop! This is what brings weight loss, you're doing great, with watching the calories and exercise, you go girl!
The kickboxing and jumping rope will burn fat and the plates will help with strength and burn calories, good job!

You shouldn't lose more than 2 lbs. a week. Anything more than that, and you will gain it ALL back. Unless you are VERY active already, there is no way you are going to be able to do that exercise program. It's too much. Brisk walking for an hour everyday is great for losing weight.

Why is everyone concered about there weight? I was concered badly one time, And I
Got skinny and it wasn't really fun so I put on a extra few pounds. Your weight is what
god wanted you to be, and if you don't like it, then you don't like what god gave you.
You should be happy god gave you a life.

But!, If you really wanna loose weight heres what you do. swimming season is coming
up and I know your really scared people will laugh at you.

- with every meal drink Water or Orange juice, Milk sometimes (Milk is very fattening).

- If you are bored and you think about eating and you think your hungry don't eat
Because you are really not hungry your just thinking about it. So try to do some sit ups
or push ups instead. Or do what you like to do.

- If you have junk food in your house, then get it all out. Because if you don't have
Junk food in your house, Guess what, You want be ABLE to eat it.

Let's say you eat alot of junk food, and you stop eating it. You will drop 15 pounds
easy.WHEN YOU SEE A CANDY, THINK OF A HOT GIRL/GUY IN A BATHING SUIT AND THINK WHO
YOU WANT MORE.

- Get some Fruits in your house loaded, and eat those when you are hungry but try
Drinking Lots of water too.

- Exercises -

1.) Punch air - Makes your arm look non-fat.
2.) Running/walking - Good for you also burns what you ate in the past 24 hours.
3.) Biking - Burns the most calories and fun. just ride around fast for 10 - 20 minutes
straight.
4.) Swimming burns the same and more as biking, because your using your whole body, You
can loose 5 pounds by swimming for 2 hours doing fast laps.
5.) Weight lifting - Light weights make your muscles the same and get the fat off you
also you look better. Heavy weights - Builds muscles like body builders.

But, People like you for who you are and if they don't and you wanna
change so they will like you don't because that is not a true friend.But
if you are really fat, and you want to impress a girl, then do what I just told you
Believe me it works. DONT get frustrated if you don't see results, because it will
take about 3-5 days mabey even 2 days if you try really really hard.

Go to www.caloriesperhour.com.
They have great calculators for this sort of thing. It will even tell you if the amount of calories you're burning is unhealthy. However, if you have Norton Internet Security on you computer it may not work because norton screws up their website's coding. (I had that problem)
