Absolutely, the expireation date is really only for the grocery stores. A store cannot sell an item once it goes past the date listed. I am not encouraging you to consume an extremely outdated product but if it is a few days by all means you are alright. Just to be on the safe side your sence of smell will tell it all.

something with dairy in it will probably be better off eaten even a few days before it expires but generally it can go either way. Once yogurt i had tasted awful even before the expiration date. Use your best judgement in most cases.

Yes. It doesn't necessarily expire on the date it says it would. I have drinken milk that was supposed to expire 1 or 2 weeks before and it was still nice or fresh. I guess it depends on how good your refrigerator is.

Freezing a nutrition stops the decaying technique, or slows it down surprisingly, so if the bread become clean once you place it in the freezer, this is definitely nonetheless clean on the instant. Bread would not "stink" the way meat or fish do; the element to look for on unfresh bread is the blue mold that grows in and on it. It won't kill you, even though it would not flavor good.

Those dates are sell by dates...the date the store must remove the product from the shelf in order to ensure freshness. It is usually safe to eat three days from that date.

Some say that you can, but I prefer not to. Then again, I also have a fear of food mold, so my opinion might not help much.
To stay on the safe side? Don't eat it.

If it's been evenly refrigerated the whole time, sure you can eat it on the day it expires. :)
