I want to buy 15x8 black rims. I don't have a lift on the jeep yet and probably wont for a while but I was wondering what the biggest I could go as far as a tire would be. I don't want rubbing and I definitely don't wanna have to do any work other than having them mounted. What us the biggest tire I could get for these rims and on my jeep without the lift. I have 235 75 R15 on there now. Any suggestions?

30"x9.5"
Wich is 1.1" larger in diameter and 1/4" narrower than yours.
Meter adjustments aren't that much necesary with such small variations in tire size. When you have a lift kit a make 35" tires fit then you'll need to recalibrate meters.

The biggest you can get on there right now are 30's. My bro has a 93 Cherokee w/out lift and that is the biggest he could go without them rubbing. Take it to the tire shop and they will be more than happy to mount the size you want on one rim and see if it will fit without rubbing. Good luck

I own a jeep wrangler and went from 225 75 R 15 to 235 75 R 15 and it screwed up the tranny computer. Ask your dealer (if it will affect your jeep, mine is an '06) before going up in size on tires. I have to have it fixed now.

i've got are available the time of this in the past. no longer on a Jeep, yet on yet another automobile. Leaves and stuff plugged up the heater center. This stopped the fan from pushing air during the heater. nonetheless felt warmth, it only did no longer blow. except you're very reachable and don't concepts getting grimy, you will ought to take it someplace. A outdoor guy ought to try this for you as this is only time ingesting. no longer a rather technical element. try asking on Craigslist for cellular mechs on your community.

I agree with Jr Mechanic. Also, if you do have speedometer and odometer problems, just get it calibrated to your tire/wheel size. It doesn't cost much and will save you possible speeding tickets.
