I have a 3 yr old poodle named Bear who occasionally shivers/trembles as if he is cold. He has a panic look to him. Yes, he has had his regular vet checks and vaccinations. TIA

When does he shiver? Is he in a situation that's scaring him? My little yorkie does that. Or is your poodle cold? Maybe he has a panic attack type problem. Poodles are pretty high strung. Always check with your vet when in doubt!

that is because he is a poodle. A lot of small dog breeds have that problem (min. pins especially come to mind) They are extremely afraid of everything and have no confidence. He is literally shaking in fear. Your best bet is to just keep introducing him to new things, but make them seem as unstressful as possible. Bring something familiar with you to a new place so he has some comfort. Eventually, he will get used to new things and hopefulyl quit.
