A desk from Good Will, flea market, yard sale. Paint it white & hang a mirror - Target? - over it. Buy a vanity bench from Bed, Bath & Beyond - a pretty bench makes all the difference.

Not sure if you're wanting a bathroom vanity or make-up. If it's a make-up, go with above. For a bathroom, see if you have a damaged freight store in your area. I have 1 & find sev. unfinished vanities in various sizes & styles for 1/2 off prices at lowe's. The name is damaged freight, but I've found nothing wrong with their stuff.

find a building site a ask them for the cut out part of the kitchen cabinets(sinks) knock together a box and screw it to the wall.use Molli screws if necessary. go to a different building site and ask them for a scrap piece of laminate(or whatever they are using) glue it on.
next payday get a door and some hinges
