Like a Chicken Caesar sandwich. You get a long white bread bun and toast it up under the grill. Fill with some crispy cos lettuce, some fresh chicken or chicken loaf, fry up some bacon or pancetta (let sit on paper towel after to get crispy), grate some pecorino or parmesan over the top then finally dribble some Caesar dressing over the top! Anchovies are optional.. lol YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

this sandwich doesnt have alot of meat but it is uniqua and very good. it sounds odd but tastes so good.
8 slices country-style white bread, sliced 1/2-inch thick
12 ounces farmhouse Cheddar, sliced
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
12 slices bacon, cooked to desired doneness
1 green apple, thinly sliced
Dijon mustard
Heat griddle or large skillet over medium-low heat. Alternatively you can use your panini press if you have one.
Assemble sandwich: Generously spread Dijon on 4 slices of bread. Top with slices of Cheddar, 3 pieces of bacon, apple slices and additional Cheddar. Place the remaining bread on top and spread with butter. Place on skillet buttered-side down and butter the remaining side. Cook until cheese is slightly melted and bread is browned. Flip the sandwich and continue to cook until cheese is thoroughly melted and sandwich is golden brown. i hope you enjoy

I personally like Pastrami Reubens. It's jewish rye bread with pastrami, sauerkraut, swiss cheese, and thousand island dressing. Broil in the oven until cheese melts and then add the dressing. Delicious!

Loose Meat Sandwiches in Iowa
Besides Charley Boy's at Miles Tap in Sioux City and Canteens in Ottumwa, anyone know of any lunch counters or bars in Iowa known for their loose meats. (Of course, I already know about Maid Rite so no use telling me about those
