Well Rose, sorry can't help with shops but I would advise you get a dressmaker to make it for you. Try to have a style and colour in mind and take along a picture of something you want, it just has to be similar because you can discuss with the dressmaker exactly what you want. This way you will have the perfect fitting dress for probably a lot less money. That's what I did for my wedding dress and it cost me 1/4 of the price but was beautiful and fitted perfectly.

There is a shop in booragoon that has the most beautiful dresses (sorry can't remember the name) and if you are going to a ball soon, listen to 92.9 there is an add on there for a place that does ball gowns and they guarantee that you will be the only one there wearing that dress. Any wedding shop too will have ball gowns to hire or buy.
