First, you need to realize that you cannot spot-reduce fat any more than you can only pour water out of certain parts of a pitcher - so you have to reduce your fat percentage first. Have you ever seen anyone with incredible abs even though the rest of his body is out of shape?

My favorite exercize for abs, believe it or not, is the dead lift. When you do two sets of five reps at 450 pounds your abs are working hard for you to be able to stand erect.

Posture is also important for the devolopment of abs.

I stongly recommend the book "Bullet Proof Abs" by Pavel Tsatsouline. This is the best abs book I have ever seen. You can get it off Amazon or the Dragondoor website.

Staying active is one of the keys, when you eat you'll need to move around so you can burn the calories that you are taking in. If you can join a gym do it, you'll like it. Get some cardio in for a couple of weeks and then start adding weights into your program. The cardio will burn fat and the weight training will burn calories, the combo is great.
Foods are a big thing in order to keep the fat off the stomach. Excess of sugars, fried foods, and of anything you eat will accumulate there, so watch your portions and eat healthy. Sorry to be so vague, but this space doesn't allow any more details for this !

You need a ruler or some sort of bar, or even a belt.
1. lie down feet together, hands at your side.
2. take your belt/ bar/ ruler in both hands,
lift your torso and bring your right leg in, slipping what ever is in your hands under your leg, extend, bring back in to starting position.
3. repeat with other leg, then both legs after you've done step 2 with both legs individually.
