The headaches are recurring and moderate but not usualy severe. It has been going on for at least 2 months. However, because this is happening so often this is making it unbearable. I have been to the doctor alot recently for sinus related problems (nosebleeds.) Will be seeing the doctor again about the headaches but until then, I was just wondering if anyone on here has had headaches for this long or if anyone knows what could be causing them. Thanks for answering.

There can be a lot of things that could be causing it. Have you had your eyes checked? It also could be a combination of different things. It is best not to rely on a diagnosis from here. I would hate to see you more upset then you already are with the "waiting game."

I have been suffering with headache since February 1st. I have gone to several doctors, including ENT specialist and Neurologist. At first I was treated for sinus infection, that cleared up the headache continued. I was recently diagnosed with migraine. The cause was uncertain until yesterday ... I was STRESSED! I did not experience nosebleeds, but the pain has been unbearable and I have been unable to work . I was released from work until further notice. Is there anything in your life that is stressful that you can't get a handle on? If so, work at getting it resolved or talk to someone about it. Me, I gave up one of my jobs which was stressing me out and I feel a little better, still have the headache, but it is easing up slowly. The rest will help as well. See your doctor as soon as possible. Be proactive in your treatment, don't just take medication because they say you should ... research the side effects and if you feel uncomfortable about it request something else or get a second opinion. Good luck and I will keep you in my prayers.

I have had periods of chronic migraines. I was attending a chiropractor that did traditional adjustments (cracking your back by twisting). My migraines kept getting worse. Then I found a chiropractor who ONLY uses the activator (a little object that hits a spot on the spine as you are relaxed and it more naturally adjusts your back). Since then, my migraines have lessened and I only have about one a month.

I have also learned recently that our brains are 80% water (approximately). Because of this, if we are dehydrated, or if we don't drink enough water in each day, we can cause headaches to occur.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck.
Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at

i would look back to the time they started- did you start eating anything different-maybe something artificial, or start using any new cleaners, or other environmental stuff...
i would also keep a headache diary- type, onset, intensity, duration etc....when you go to get headaches checked out, the doctors will ask a bezillion questions about them- so much you'll develop a headache right then and there.
