there's this guy that is a couple years older and i have secretly liked him for a while, but we've only actually been friends a couple months. anyway, we're pretty good friends now and it is implied that we are couple material (he waits for me, sits next to me instead of other girls, and we hug a lot), but apparently i'm too quiet and my friend says she thinks he's waiting to figure out whether or not he actually wants to date me. i want him to so much, and there are plenty of great opportunities for him to ask me out coming up, what should i do? should i play it cool, or invite him on a date next weekend? should i make a move or wait?

Hey, if you really like him then you would be willing to take a risk.

You won't know until you ask! Make the first move, ask him if he'd like to go out on a date. Hey, I'm not old fashioned. If a girl asked me to go out, I would greatly jump at the invitation.

Proceed with caution though, until you are sure that he's definitely the right guy for you. For all you know, he may just want you for a "one night fling", then dump you. A guy can be nice on the outside when he wants only one thing. Don't be quick to judge someone from the outside, seek what's in his heart, only then will you know if he's truly the right guy for you.

You can wait for him to make a move but you can also signal your interest in a number of ways. Show interest in him by listening, smiling and being enthusiastic around him. Find out his interests either by asking him or others and talk to him about the things that interest him. Keep yourself informed and interested in many subjects so that you can contribute to the conversation as well. Good luck.

You could write down a few topics to choose from before you two meet up but honestly I have 5 brothers between the ages of 20-30 and they all agree on the same thing..They think girls talk too much..They wish they would just shut up and listen to them.

Never ask a man out. Make him ask you. Just flirt and let him ask. Men like the chase.
Just relax and chat about anything, same as you do with friends, acquaintances. "Practice" chatting / small talk with everybody; the person ahead of you in line at the store, etc, everywhere you go. Then you will get the hang of it; its easy!

What about inviting him to meet you for coffee? You could find out what interests him and read up on it, learn about whatever it is he's interested then, so that you, yourself could become knowledgeable in that area. Ask him questions about himself, guys always like to talk about themselves.

At that age men desire issues their way or no way in any respect. He probable is dissatisfied that issues did no longer pass precisely how he wanted them to and he may be attempting to coach you a lesson because of the fact of it. men that age are full of hormones and do lots of stupid issues for stupid motives. in case you care approximately him you ought to talk nomatter what and in case you're uncertain then you certainly do no longer somewhat care approximately him and you ought to blow it off.

Let him make the move but, if he is shy just make it plain that you are interested.
