My hair is kind of thick. I'm a guy, 14 years old, short hair. I'm growing my hair out a bit to look like Zac Efron's but my hair is thicker than his. How can I make it thinner?

go to a salon and get a razor cut, it thins out the hair.

he looks like he has naturally thick hair too, it's just been cut in different layers with a razor, that's all (:

heck, if you can, print out your favourite picture of his hair and just bring it with you. easy peasy! any hair artist could pull that off no problem. good luck, dude.

once its grown to the length you want it, go to the hairdresser and just ask them to thin it out, or you could just use john friedas "wind down" spray, that`ll help make it look less thick. by the way i love zac efrons hair. good luck!

Get a razor cut and have them put a lot of layers to take off some of the bulkiness.

Go to a barber shop or something.

They have these special scissors that they use.

My hair used to be TOOOOO thick, so they cut mine with the special scissors.

I don't regret it.

Just tell them to unthicken it. They'll know what you want.

Have someone texture it with a razor or have someone use thinning shears on it.

Don't. You will be sorry when you're 40-something and thinning.
