there's this guy that is a couple years older and i have secretly liked him for a while, but we've only actually been friends a couple months. anyway, we're pretty good friends now and it is implied that we are couple material (he waits for me, sits next to me instead of other girls, and we hug a lot), but apparently i'm too quiet and my friend says she thinks he's waiting to figure out whether or not he actually wants to date me. i want him to so much, and there are plenty of great opportunities for him to ask me out coming up, what should i do? should i play it cool, or invite him on a date next weekend? should i make a move or wait?

Make subtle gestures or comments to assure him that you like him. If you feel like you want him to make the first move than do that. If you want to make the first move be my guest! It doesn't matter these days anyways, as long as you have the courage and that trust will be in that relationship..
