So you know how they say "people cheat cause they're missing something from their current relationship," well why would a man cheat on his new GF of 5 months with his ex gf of 2 years?
Could he be perhaps missing something from the new GF, that she doesnt give him. If so, what could it be?

It just means he does not care about his new GF enough to respect her. It is best to leave that situation and find someone that cares.

To be quite frank. Perhaps he is married and is cheating on his wife with the both of you. Perhaps he claims to have an ex of 2 years but he is just playing you and she doesn't know. Or perhaps this ex of 2 years has really been with him for 10 years knowing about the wife and said enough moved out from with him and that's why he is with you now because the wife doesn't put out and now the first ex is trying to do the right thing until he makes a decision to stay or leave the wife (he promised gf for 2 years when the new company starts making the big money he will divorce the wife and come find her) And he needs his fix so you are there. LIES LIES you are being Played GF. And that is why he moved to another county to fool you

because he has no concept of the words commitment and compromise. to him it is a free for all. the ex was available and he said, cool.
he might still have feelings for this other woman, if he is cheating with her. He did not fully move on before he started the next relationship. I would have a discussion with him and tell him how u feel. tell hiim it's not fair and not right and give him the option: her or me: he cannot have both: he can't have his cake and eat it too.

this man is a pig plain and simple and if the new gf knows that he is cheating on her especially with the ex then she needs to get self help to be so desperate to stay with such a loser.

The guy still wants to be a playa and play the field so to the speak. He has no respect for his girlfriend and cheats on her.

Some men just like to have their cake and eat it too.
He may not be completely happy with his new girlfriend.
If this is the case then he should not call anyone his girlfriend, be honest and just play the field. No one can catch you or accuse you of anything.

They still like the ex.
They haven't gotten fully over her.
But this is still wrong, & it still hurts. However, they never admit they like them to their new lover, over fear of it ruining the relation. Seems it ruins it more though, to actually cheat like this.

Honestly, if he is cheating on you why do you care what it is. you are much better off without him. why would you want to stay with someone who can hurt you like that. you can find someone better than him.
