Yes, I believe that the should be able to.
If not, then they will think that the only way for them to experience any sexual pleasure is physically. They would go out searching for someone just to have sex with so that they wouldn't be left in the dark about it.
It's not bad to look at porn. It doesn't hurt them unless they get obsessed with it, which isn't common. It doesn't hurt anyone else.
Of course, I believe the parent should talk to their kids about it first. Educate them about how they don't want to walk in on them while they are looking at it (the typical, I don't want to find you masturbating speech) so lock your door.
But it shouldn't be viewed as a bad thing. I think it is perfectly normal for any one to look at porn. As long as the person is mature enough about it, which would be the parents job to inform them about how they want them to act about it.
It makes it more comfortable if kids and their parents talk about this subject and get it out in the open. If the kid thinks that their parents don't approve, they are still going to do it, only in secret. It's better if the parent lets the kid know that they know they are going to do it and how they want their kids to act maturely about the matter, but that they don't condemn the act.

It's fine. It won't hurt them. If they actively seek it out, letting them. There is no good reason why it will supposedly hurt them. It does not cause any type of perversion. It should however be made clear that porn is something for entertainment. It is unrealistic, and the people in it are actors. As long as they were raised to know right from wrong, they won't mimic anything they run across that would be harmful to them or others. And there is a lot of horrible things they can run across that isn't related to porn. Porn has some things as well. Life is full of good and bad. But there is nothing wrong with naked bodies and there is nothing wrong with sex. The real importance is to be safe, which comes from educated your kids about sex. Porn is just entertainment. They should know and understand that. If they don't, you failed as a parent.

Okay I really don't know any good and normal parent who would ever let their children look at porn or in my case i have a 9 year old and he is not allowed to watch mature movies (rated R and some PG-13 movies) and not allowed to watch tv 14 television, because of the "soft" porn issue we all see in simple television, i am really sick of how tv is today, everything even some cartoons are suggestive and i dont like it. I would never show my kid porn and i would really hope all parents think the same way, keep the children innocent for as long as possible!! Porn is everywhere even in music, and while we cant stop it, we can help our kids to not be able to see or hear that kind of crap.

I don't think it's appropiate for kids to look at porn. But it is traditional for teen boys to see some porn. The problem nowadays is that porn is so easy to come by on the internet and there is so much variety and some really weird stuff that kids are being influenced by it. I'm soo glad that I'm not a teen.

No, I don't think it is appropriate for anyone to look at porn. What a terrible thing for your mind to become cluttered with. It can become an addiction. You can't get enough, I have heard of a lot of rapist's that started out by looking at porn, and it was never enough. Once they got bored with what was on the screen they had to go out looking for it and went to far. It's disgusting.
