I have some friends that have had sex at 10, 12, 13, and 14. It's really giving me the urge but I want to wait until I am older. I AM going to wait but it's just hard..... These friends are all girls and have all done it at least twice I mean...

I had the chance, and I didn't. I knew that I wasn't ready and it would be a big mistake and I would regret it later. I didn't have sex until I was 18, with my b/f of 1 year, and I don't regret it... we're still together after 5 years, and there's no way I would have been ready for sex at that young of an age, I didn't know what I wanted, like most young girls... and I bet in a few years, if you ask your friends if they were ready, they'll say no and that they regret it and they hate the boy they had sex with... and at least one of them will probably be pregnant.
Let your friends be immature and irresponsible, but I think you are more mature than them.. you should wait until you feel it's right and you love the guy.. I know you feel like you're missing out on something, but believe me, you won't regret it if you wait for the right person and time...

listen...dont do anything until you are 100% ready. you may feel that you are now but sex is a big deal. we girls get attached very easily and sex will do that. its so much easier to get hurt that way. my advice is to wait till you are older. this way it will be more special cause you will know you truly love the person youre with and its not with just some guy cause you feel like having sex. be safe.

How funny that you are going by the name of Dark Angel. My daughter's name is Angel. When she was 14, she did "it" and now I have a 11 year old grandson. Please, please wait! You have so much more to experience in life. My Angel is a very good mother and she finished school, but she missed out on so much. No prom- No hanging out at the mall- No sleep overs. Instead she changed diapers,breast-fed, had little or no sleep, no school dances or trips. Enjoy your youth while you can, there's no going back.

but the question is, are they happy that they did it?? i have friends who did it, they were pressured or thought they wanted to (around that age), now they regret it and they want to make sure me and my other friends don't make the same mistake. i mean, if you give it up so early, what is there to look forward to? patience makes many things all the sweeter.
(but yeah, the curiousity is awful... read a romance novel or something. :P jk.)

i was 15 the first time i had sex. but each person is different. and you shouldnt rush things and never let someone pressure you into something that you are not ready for. when you meet someone special and you know it feels right, thats when it will happen. once you give it away, its gone. be careful and respectful

i wouldnt. a good friend once said that purity is a gift meant to be given to your married partner. think about it, wouldnt you want it to be your husband's first time with you because you are the most important girl in his life? Sex was given by God to reproduce, it is a sin to abuse it and have sex before marriage. stay strong!

im 14 and i probably would have sex if i truly loved them but i would use protection and make sure she took birth control pills too
