Personally, i think this is completely normal. It can come down to the fact that women are more sensual, soft and smoother than men. Men can be so rough, ignorant and arrogant in the bedroom, you are not always satisfied. Never mind the fact, that personally, I think women and much nicer to look at in the nude then men. I too like men, but whatever gets the job done at the end of the day. Also there is the added excitement of "if only my friends knew what I thought about and how I imagine them."
I don't think it is possible to think of nothing to feel the kind of pleasure I know that I like to feel.

yes it is posssible to experience pleasure while only experiening physical stimulation, but it is easier and more enjoyable when mentally aroused as well. As for why you find it easier when thinking about women, i guess that would depend on what you think about them. If you think about them pleasing themselves i think it could just be a preocupation with with the act of masterbation- in which case a porn of women masterbating would help you the most... but if it is you and the girls you know i would suggest you are bisexual- and more physically attracted to women- while still enjoying men.

It is perfectly normal. I went through a stage in which I could only think about girls sexually, but I loved boys even then and I am a straight female.
I can't explain why some girls like us fantasize about girls when we masturbate, but it happens. Maybe because girls are just so sexy.
