After two years my girlfriend dumps me out of the blue no real increase in fighting just out of the blue. She says she needs to figure out who she really is and she needs some time to sort it out. Should i waste my time waiting for this or just take it for what it is a break up. I have a lot of other options its just this one i thought was the real deal. Do any of you think there is another guy? or she is telling the truth when she says she needs to find herself and that she still really does love me which is hard to beleive right now? Any help you guys can give me would be really great

trust her.
girls are just that way sometimes.

cuz she has been with you for so long. maybe she feels she has lost her identity. and needs to be her own person and find it.

just a thought.

When you are in love, there is no reason that you can't "find yourself" with your partner and grow together. I think that excuse is lame and she probably threw that out there because she didn't want to tell you the real reason.
There might be another guy, it could just be that she isn't into you, or maybe she just wants to be alone. Either way, if she was in love with you there would be no reason that you two couldn't grow together and remain a couple through anything. If I was you I wouldn't wait around for her.

If you 2 are always up each others a&$es, like hanging out everyday or if you lived with her, then she probably really does need time alone to think, and you should do the same while you 2 are apart. First off I would think of "why don't I trust her?" Trust is numero uno for a working relationship, stop lying to yourself and really ask yourself why don't I trust her? And if you don't then she's not the one for you, and you should go get yourself a nice girl. Or maybe you should look into yourself, maybe you have trust issues that you should get resolved.

After being in a relationship for so long girls tend to feel like they are losing their own identity and don't really know what they want anymore. Sometimes they need to really go and find themselves again and other times they are really breaking up but too scared to do it. My advice to you is to ask her is it a break or is she really breaking up with you so that you aren't waiting for her and she gets someone new. She owes it to you and herself to be honest. But in the meantime if i were you i would go out and have fun, don't sit around waiting for her to call you. Go out see some girls go and party and you never know it may just be enough to show her that she either does or doesn't love you.

There may or may not be another guy. However it sounds like to me that she wanted to end your relationship and just used that as a out. I know if you love her it will be hard for awhile. But move on with your life. Be a little selfish and think about you and what you need. If I were you I would enjoy a little down time. Play the field and enjoy!!

Coming from a girl who's said that before... and been told that before.. Wait for a while, because all good things are worth waiting for. After a while you'll know if you're waiting in vain, it just kind of happens that way. If it is meant to be it wont take long before you two are brought back together. I wish you the best of luck hun. =)

It could be that she may be in love with another woman. Have you ever considered that? Let her go to find herself. In the meantime, pursue your other options, don't be a prisoner in your home waiting for her since you don't know when she'll come back to you. But if she should come back, proceed with caution. Good luck!

Dude whats she is telling you is that I really love you ,but your acting to much like a wuss for me.Dude what you have to do is tell her thats ok I got other people I want to see too.And pay no attention to her and get on with your life and you'll see how she'll come crawling back.Have her work her way back. This works everytime.Women love a challenge.

Hard to say .Why don't you ask her if there is another guy and see how she reacts. Do it face to face so you can read her expressions. She could be telling the truth or she has something else going on. n
