We are taking a bus trip to NYC on St Patty's Day. We aren't interested in the parade and thought we would head for the statue of liberty and then work our way back for a 2 pm broadway show. All suggestions will be appreciated.

It's hard to say exactly because it gets bigger everyday But Canal Street running east and west runs right through the middle of it
use the corner of Mott and Canal as the center of Chinatown. It's probably not exact but it's close enough
You're going to the Statue of Liberty , and then Chinatown and expect to make a 2:00 curtain on Broadway- really bad idea
do Chinatown/ little Italy after the play
you cannot show up to a Broadway show late- ever

The boat for the Statue of Liberty first stops at Ellis Island. Be forewarned that L-O-N-G strains form for this boat, and there could desire to be long waits. maybe on St Pat's maximum persons will head for the parade so strains may well be shorter--in accordance to possibility. in case you get shrink decrease back early adequate, Chinatown is close adequate to the placement the boat docks. some mile north on the east edge of extensive apple. Streets are narrow and crowded, many little shops with exciting subject concerns on the industry, from touristy junk to extreme priced lamps, fixtures, etc. and of direction a large form of ingesting places. i think of of Wo Hop on Mott street is between the perfect, yet as quickly as you have 2 pm theater tickets, in case you consume in Chinatown, watch a jointly as or maybe then you certainly could could desire to speed to a taxi--and wrestle the positioned up-parade mobs as you mindset the theater district.
