Seems its only girls who may say oh I was a virgin it 20s or even marriage though how the hell they formed a relationship and not buddy mates I dont get.
But for guys its very clearly bad as all the girls peg you as a needy, despirate, virgin, clueless nurdy type and wont want to touch you as too nice and only see you as a gay brother mate to talk about the guys they do like with you.
Likewise if not a virgin but inexperienced so you have no confidence with girls and chatting up etc.
Which only gets worse with age.
Whilst girls can use the Im a virgin thing to pull. Guys cant and unless loose it early and get lots of practice at each level so to speak.
Seem to have little chance of getting a date let alone forming realtionships to get anywhere near to being married.
Plus whats the big deal anyway on marriage.
its just an evil cult ruling on how relationships should be done.
With most ending up loveless, abusive, divorced etc

One day you will look back on this and wonder what was I thinking.
No One day I learned to hate all those who inficted over a decade of pain and what liers and idiots thay are and how much they hurt people.
And how reality is so different from that kind of thinking

Think about what you have just said. First, virginity is a gift. Why would anyone be upset about being one.
FIRSTLY AS SAID... IN REALITY GIRLS ONLY DATE BAD BOYS AND IF A NICE GUY MATE TRIES TO GET NEAR THEM ... NO MORE FRIEND.
Guys who are needy virgins usually NEVER EVER get dates and therefor NEVER form reltiosnhips and NEVER therefore reach the stage of marriage except in a few odd cases.
Plus girls are so picky and want an expert kisser and in bed and charmer.
if the guy is not perfect...
bye bye
And what gift... stay off the drugs.
Loosing viginities is normally a painful messy affair without all the opractice in foreplay etc.
WHAT IF YOU ARE 1 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN?
LOOK AT ALL YOU WOULD MISS OUT ON...
ie no prom date, making out in cars, no spin the bottle, parties, your body then would be old, flabby, no chance and so much missed out on

Plus every second you are without somone is pain, hurt, hate anger, missery , lonliness.
You can only be happy and accepted when sexaully active or people see you as a looser, no many friends and no warmth, love of affection in your life.
What good is that?

It's a very stupid double standard, and it goes both ways. While guys are more criticized for being vrigins, if a girl has had sex, she is more criticized as being a "whore". It's not fair, and it's stupid. But if you find a partner with similar values as you, it won't matter to them if you're a virgin or not, because you'll both be on the same page, and in the end having similar values and ideas about sexuality is very important in a relationship, so someone who doesn't agree with you or criticizes you wouldn't be a good match for you, anyway. I wish my guy had been a virgin when we met. It would have made things a lot less complicated.

I think it is ok for a guy to be a virgin in there 20's or period for that matter. Why does a conversation have to start with are you a virgin. Why can't you just go on a date and see where things go. Why does sex need to be the topic of the conversation. In my opinion, I think virgins are better in bed!!
Marriage is not an evil cult ruling. My husband and I have been married for 6 yrs but have been together for 12. We were best friends before we ever considered dating. We are still very much in love, and we have 2 beautiful daughters.
Maybe the places that you are looking for woman are all wrong. Often times when you meet in a bar that is when it end up loveless, abusive and divorced. My brother knows first hand.
Look for a friend not a lover or partner, and if things are ment to be, then they are ment to be.
Or, maybe the girls that you know are b******, and have no idea what a nice guy is.

Now this is the best example of ignorance. I know that is harsh, but really. Think about what you have just said. First, virginity is a gift. Why would anyone be upset about being one. The big deal on marriage. Marriage is a life time commitment. It is hard work. But rewarding. Love is not something to take for granted. Do marriages end in divorce? Yes, some do. But those cases are the ones that did not truly try. there are couples out there that have wonderful, meaningful marriages that last their whole life. And that is because they understand what they both need to do to make it work. So, a man is a virgin till marriage. Great. That is one thing he can give to his new bride. Gift of love if you will. Marriage takes hard work, time and understanding. When marriage happens, you will both grow together. Most women wait for marriage cause they want to share that moment with the one they truly love. If that person was you, you would feel the same as you do now. personally speaking, if I am with a man who wants to wait for marriage before sex. GREAT. Shows he wants me for me and when we do make a commitment, I will have the chance to know him in ways no other woman will.

I agree with you that's it's a stupid double standard. I've also noticed that marriage is not 'fun' like dating is 'fun' - so if you think you must marry in order to give up your virginity, you have to think of all the 'fun' you are going to miss out on by not dating. One solution would be to marry and enjoy losing your virginity together and then enjoy marriage and have fun with it. That is exactly what religions that promote abstinence try to communicate - but unfortunately, that message is ignored. Too bad.

i really don't know what the hell your question is, but i don't think being a virgin is a bad thing at all. if you lose a friendship because you are still a virgin, then that friend wasn't worth having as a friend. being a virgin does not make anybody less of a man or woman. just shows that they choose not to get sexual until they want to.

Double standard - I say a man is only a real man if he has the self-control and the confidence to save himself for marriage instead of trying to impress his immature buddies by going out and wasting a precious gift that was meant for his wife. As a woman, I would respect a man who has waited infinitely more than one who didn't. I say that losing your virginity to anyone other than your wife is immature, disrespectful, and could be considered stealing from the woman to whom it was meant to belong.
If you want to be married, and you're out with a girl that you don't think you're going to marry... Theoretically, your future wife could also be out on a date. Treat your date how you'd like the guy who is out with your future wife tonight to treat her. Guys seem to all want virgins, so logically, he should behave with respect in a way that keeps the virginity of the girls intact so they can all marry their virgin brides.

i actually no quite a few guys that choose to keep their virginity for that special person and are 20 (quite rare) i think this i a beautiful thing as it goes to show that they arent trying to get there leg over on anyone- and best believe these guys could get it if they wanted as they are so sexy. but anyways virginity is a beautifull thing and shouldnt be taken lightheartedly, alot of people cant wait to get rid of it not knowing that it is something that should be treasured. dont be ashamed people

Guys, it shows virility, a man who is a virgin after a certain age is looked upon as being outside of the social norm (very often being accused of being gay).
Girls, there is a stigma attached to her of being a tramp.
It is just the way the world goes.
