I cannot pay rent or purchase my meds or food. Does anyone hav any advise I am really in a bad way? I do not know where to turn to. at the end of March I will be living in the streets.

Can you go down to the social security office or contact a local attorney. Call the California bar association for a referral

You need advice and support go and see social services, there must be someone who can act as an advocate for you. Try the local church or other community group for assistance with food, people will help if you seek them out, being housebound may mean you need to make first contact by phone if thats the case do so...good luck!

What about Social Security Disability? It can take a while but at least you'll have something to hang on to.Don't forget the Red Cross. Almost always they can help in some capacity and if they can't I feel they can give you advice
toward somewhere else. And you can try churches for food if nothing else. I'm sorry this is happening to you. You have touched me. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Reapply for permanent Disability. Get any info. you can about shelters, social workers & community service workers. Good Luck, just what Ca. needs, another homeless person. NOT!!! Your whole situation seems very desparate & if I could, I'd help you. As I live in gov. housing living on Social Security... I can pray for you, so you might find a happy end to your problems.

State disability is only for short term disability.. You should have gone on Social Security.. You can receive Social Security benefits for as long as you need them. After two years you would also be eligible for health insurance, medicare and possibly medi-cal (depending on your assets).
