if a girl you've never talked to from school stares or glances at you when your not looking ...like everyday...but then stops completely the next week....does it mean shes lost interest? or becoming shy or something

She could have been interested in you, something was on your face, maybe she was observing you, observing you for another friend, maybe she saw that you noticed and was shy.... There can be many reasons for the stares and the glances. Maybe if she starts to do that again go up and talk to her in a regular conversation. See how she reacts.
