According to Genesis, God walked with Adam and Eve in the garden of eden. Whether this was intended literally or figuatively I don't know. But, it is the best answer I can give you. Where other mentions of man and God conversing, God usually appears as something else such as a piller of fire, a cloud etc. I suggest that it is very possible that once Adam and Eve were no longer perfect in God's eyes, that they (and any other human being) might not have been able to stand actually seeing Him.

No human eyes have seen the Father God, only the Son Jesus Christ. God the father is too bright and strong for human eyes. But God the Word has been seen in the Old Testament, in visions and the Word of God put on flesh and dwelt among us. So when we see the Son of God, we see the representation, express image of God.

Only the vision of the ancient of days, Abraham when Yahweh (Jesus) and angles stopped by on their way to Soddom & Gohmorrah. When Hagar talked to Jesus when she was kicked out & in distress. These are a few examples. If it is God one sees, it is the Word of God (Jesus). Also the vision of the dove that is the Holy Spirit. And when Moses saw God, it was the Word of God.

God the Father is Spirit and an all-consuming fire. No one has seen the Father.

God the Son Jesus Christ is the God that man can see.

God the Holy Spirit is the God that man has within.

It takes the three (3) parts to make God because He is so unlimited in power, in knowledge and in position.

Stephen saw Jesus standing at the right hand of God.

Acts 7:55-56 KJV

55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

Moses was allowed to see God's back as he passed by him. This was only after Moses begged God for the chance to see Him. Anyone seeing the God in all His Greatness would be awe-struck and die.

Angels, yes. God, no. If I had, why would I want to still be here?

Moses saw the back of his head as described in Exodus. Other than that, no one except Jesus as seen the Father.
