Freedom of religion touches everything in our society. It allows people of faith to worship as they see fit, with no interference from the government. It also allows everyone, including people of faith to organize, vote, lobby and legislate (when in power) in a way which is consistent with their beliefs and world view. Everyone does that. Some just don't like it when people of faith do it. Fortunately, the constitution protects the rights of ALL Americans to participate in our government, whatever their reasons, experiences or beliefs.
