It would appear to be a very cheap pickup line referring to your Zodiac sign.

Boys??? Now I know you mean young men--they are nervous, and inexperienced--often lacking in interesting or stimulating conversation--so they do the small talk about signs---they know nothing about the signs--it just passes time---you could be doing a lot worse--so go along with it. Your Sign is your Zodiac symbol. For instance I am a "Cancer" the Crab. They ask becomes some signs are more compatible with some then others. For instance, Cancers and Pisces go well together, Cancers and Cancers don't.

I am a woman but can tell you that some people are into the stars (astrology) and like to know if you are compatible with them by comparing common personality traits of your sign to theirs.

they are trying to start a conversation with you. You respond with your answer say..cancer..then you say,"and whats your sign." and they'll say oh ," I am a Pisces" and then you say,"are they supposed to get along?" It goes something like that.

They just want to know if you are compatible, if they are into that stuff. But if they are not, maybe they really like you and they want to make small talk, just go along with it! :-D
