I see that the PC input is VGA. I would have prefered DVI but the thing is only 2Gs so I guess I have to sacrifice a little. Is this a good buy or should I get something else? As a reminder I have an account with Dell so I'm looking for something there. Also I was talking with someone and he said the "burn-in" and "recharge" things have been wives tales from the start and they really dont have issues with those. Is this correct? Thank you for any help you can provide

Be careful that this is NOT a TV, but a monitor.
It does not have a TV Tuner.
Also it does not have a single DVI or HDMI input, so it has rather limited in connectivity if in the future you plan to connect an HD set-top box or an HD player.
If it has only a single component input, it will make it very tough to connect more than one HD source. Other than that, the specs are very good.

Yes, you don't have to worry that much for burn-in for plasma, but still plasma are not very good if you plan to use it for a lot of gaming. However, they are fine (actually the best in my opinion) for watching regular TV.

I would recommend a TV with at least one HDMI input (two is normal now) , and two component inputs

Sure looks like a decent deal to me. I don't know a whole lot about their TV screens, but if they're as good as this flat screen I got with my Dell, then it's gotta be a great deal. If you don't care for it, you'd always be able to return it, right?Good luck.
